Trapped at a place where I don't want to be.
With a need to learn what I don't want to know.
Across a time I don't want to waste.
And at a pace that I don't have control of.
Lift me away from here.
Put me where I can be better.
Release me towards a light that's right.
Let me close my eyes.
Have me feeling a sense of safety.
But I don't have that luxury.
Yet I can't attain my wishes.
If I would have the freedom....
Through my depths, I will conquer.
In a few moments, I will rise and leave.
That time is near, I know I'll return again.
Though gasiping to get away, I choose to stay.
